ABOUT US
Langtoun Jazz was established in 2018, succeeding the Fife Jazz Club. The objectives of the organisation are to establish a Jazz Festival in Kirkcaldy and promote regular jazz events in the town and surrounding area. These objectives will be pursued on the basis of equal opportunities for all.
Langtoun Jazz is an Unincorporated Association. It is run by a volunteer Committee, currently comprising six people. A number of other volunteers assist from time to time.
The office bearers comprise the Chairman, Secretary and Treasurer.
Our aim in the near future is to secure Charitable status. This will open up more funding opportunities, and will allow us to consider more community and educational projects.
We welcome new volunteers and Committee members at any time. If you have the enthusiasm for jazz and wish to help out, get in touch using the Contact Us facility here or contact the Secretary at secretary@langtounjazz.co.uk or the Treasurer at treasurer@langtounjazz.co.uk. We would particularly welcome volunteers with experience or interest in social media, websites, marketing and promotion.
