Toni Jannotta Quartet
Saturday 25th June
12noon to 1pm

Live Lounge at Kings Theatre Kirkcaldy
9 Esplanade

1st of 6 concerts for lovers of vocal Jazz featuring Toni Jannotta, a classy vocalist from California & her Scottish Trio. We are delighted to welcome Toni who is coming to Scotland for a holiday and gracing us with a classy performance of originals and standards.
Toni began her career as a dancer, became an actress, and ultimately a singer in any Jazz joint that would have her. Her love of music began with the violin at age 9, so it is no wonder that when acting went bust, she fell back to music and her first love, Jazz. She has played in clubs and festivals locally in her home state of California, as well as in Europe, the U.K., and Jamaica. She has three vocal Jazz CDs to her credit, plus a documentary she created and produced featuring her local homeless community doing the storytelling and Jazz improvisers providing the backdrop.
Toni’s latest project, “My Little Heart, Ruthie,” is a children’s book she wrote to help children of trauma, with a storytelling musical suite she composed and performed. “My Little Heart, Ruthie” was first played by the gracious Grace Black on the Jazz Lounge.”
